Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Once you open the top and align your document you want to scan to the marker on the lower right corner. 1. Press power button to turn on printer. 2. Screen should have top two actions as copy and scan. Copy: 3. Press "OK" button on right side of screen 4. Use arrow keys on right side of screen to scroll down and make sure the settings for 2-Sided, Paper Type, Resize, etc are to your liking (should be set to default and work fine though. 5. Use up arrow on right of screen to scroll up and highlight either "Start Black Copy" or "Start Color Copy" and press "OK" button on right side of screen. Scan 3. Press down arrow on right side of screen once 4. Press "OK" on right side of screen when "Scan" is highlighted 5. Scroll to the name of your computer using arrows on right side 6. Press "OK" 7. Select either "Photo" or "Document" depending on preference/purpose 8. Hit "OK" 9. Hit "OK" if the "Confirm Scan" Screen is correct I have not used to fax yet, sorry.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you click on the HP printer in the all programs it will open up a menu. Then you can put a paper to be scanned in or whatever you want printed just right click and select print. Hope this helps. Oh, you do not need to copy to print.
