- Answer This printer definitely has color printing. The initial set up includes both a black & color ink jet. If you choose not to include a color ink jet it will still work just fine. Set up is a breeze for both an HP computer & ipad.

QuestionIf I set this up with WiFi connection, will it still scan? I had another "WiFi" multipurpose printer that the scanner won't work with WiFi config. and required the printer to be reinstalled with a wired connection in order to scan.

- Answer No, that is not the reason. The printer goes into sleep mode when it is unused for a period of time.
