“I have tried printers for home use but all needed to be connected to internet service for wireless. Does this printer or any other work for home copies without going thru wireless connection if I do not need it at times?????”

Hi, thank you for the question. If you don't want to use a wireless connection, you can connect the Envy 6055 to your computer with a USB cable. Or, if you have a Smartphone, you can print directly from your phone (using your phone's internet connection and the HP Smart App).
