“HP Envy 7640 fax issues Is anyone out in cyber space having problems with setting up the fax machine? I thought I had it set up but I keep getting an dial tone, stating " I have exceed the alotted time in dialing." Does anyone have suggesions for getting this resolved?”

• you may have your phone jack in the wrong outlet in rear of printer.. try using other port then run test again.

• Hello, Did you connect a phone jack from the printer to your modem/router? Also make sure the phone jack is in the out spot for the modem/router & the in spot of the printer. If Still having troubles give HP support a call. Call toll-free 844-814-1800
