You can buy it that way. There is an i5 and i7 version.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's not "surface mounted" (soldered directly to the motherboard, so as long as you replace it with a 10th Generation i7, it should work just fine. You'll also need to get some thermal paste to put on the top of the processor before installing the heat sink. The thermal paste will come with a set of instructions. Follow the directions _exactly_ to ensure you've got the best contact (and therefore the best thermal transfer)
