“5.1 sound connection? I saw the unit in-person and it has only one audio output (apart from mic input and headphone output). I have a three-connector 5.1 surround system. Is it possible to make that work on this computer somehow? Thank you!”

You can always but adaptors and such. However if you want Premium sound you can always buy a sound card and it'll have all the connections you'll need.
