“I bought this PC 2 weeks ago. Out of the box, I‘m having issues with the mic for record. getting slight static or noise. The audio coming in is clean because i use a different PC and there’s no issue. Drivers updated. Have you heard any issues?”

Thanks. The audio input is not a mic. its actually a Line in from a sound console. On a laptop it goes to the mic/heaphone combo port. I tried it on this PC and also tried the mic and Line in port on the back of the PC and get the same result. i plug into my other PC I was using before and there is no issue. It's something wrong with this PC. i tied HP support but no response yet.
