Jen, thank you for your question about this HP Envy Inspire printer! This printer does not have fax built into it and the HP Smart app can only send out faxes, but not receive them. If this is a feature you need, the HP OfficeJet Pro series printers have fax built right into them and those are carried in Best Buy stores!
