“When setting up this new printer, should I remove all info/settings etc. from my previous HP printer on my computer first, or will it just recognize a new printer and ignore the previous one?”

• Only If you are in the instant ink program you need to remove the previous printer.

• When i set this printer up i did not delete previous printers. My laptop recognized the new printer without a problem, and set it up with its own settimgs.

• For computer performance we always recommend removing the old printer's software if possible (in cases where the old model is no longer in use). Otherwise you can totally set up the new printer without doing anything!
