“Will the HP Envy 7155 printer work with an iMac using High Sierra 10.13.6? I also read on one question that it does not work with Netgear. If this printer does not work, what would you recommend for general use and high quality pictures.”

This printer will work with Mac OS. It should work with a Netgear router. It's tough to say exactly the reason their printer would not work with the Netgear router.
