“I received a hp envy photo printer as a gift. I’m trying to print documents off my iPhone. I cannot figure out how to get this printer to print on the 8.5x11 paper. Do I need a hp app on my phone? It won’t even connect to my hp labtop.”

Apologies for what you're experiencing. Using t he HP Smart App on your iPhone or computer will solve the network set-up problem and enable you to print from your phone. Use printer settings from your computer to change the default to 8.5 x 11" (you can also do this with the Smart App).
