QuestionDoes this printer require use of the HP smart app? I’m not a fan - my previous HP printer did not require and I printed via WiFi from my iPhone and iPad from emails, attachments, screen shots etc

- Answer I bought this printer specifically to use wifi and print from my iphone. You may need the app to link your devices, I could not find the hp app for my kindle fire.

- Answer I do not have it set up for fax. It prints, copies, scans. Was incredibly difficult to set up. Slow to scan. My other HP printer (sorry I did not invest the money for that one) scanned without having to change the setting to scan.
