Sounds like you’ve got a manufacturer defect that shouldn’t be ignored, and is definitely abnormal. Contact HP via chat on their official website (don’t Google their phone number as there are many fakes out there waiting to take your money and scam you) and they will very likely fix the defect free of charge as per their warranty, barring damage caused by the end-user due to improper handling.

They can look into this for you and make sure that it is okay. If not, they can give you other options and see if it needs to be replaced. The longer you wait, the harder it is to look into some issues, and it could cost just to get it looked at.
