Its actually not difficult - just delicate. Much easier than my old Lenovo Flex. MUCH easier. Check youtube for videos. Its very simple compared to Lenovo Flex. I mean wow its like a few screws and lifting the tiny battery. My old lenovo required removing the top cover, the keyboard, the back plate, a board, disk drive, multiple cables.... and more....

You can ask HP Support or Geek Squad for upgrade options for this unit and it is recommended that should you decide to have any upgrades done that you have a certified technician do so. If Geek Squad were to do the upgrades, it would not void HP's warranty, but HP will not cover the new parts. Very few laptop models have quick access panels to slots to make upgrades easier. You can contact HP or Best Buy's computer department if you are interested in such a unit.
