I would be happy to answer your question. This laptop contains an NVMe M.2 storage drive, not the traditional 2.5" SATA SSD drive.

Original question asker here, I asked because the product states Number Of Internal 2.5" Bays - 1. After reading the official answer, it seemed like I should be able to add a SATA 2.5" SSD, but after opening the laptop there was no slot to my disappointment. I am dissatisfied as this was a buying point for me.. I don't recommend this laptop if you are looking for the same.. And to the anonymous, you can certainly have a 2.5" NVMe SSD with a sata connector. Easily found using Google's search engine

nvme drives are pcie based and do not come in a 2.5 form factor, only sata devices come in both 2.5 and m.2
