“What ram config comes with this model? 2X4G or 1X8G? HP's doc has both listed. Can you replace RAM? HP's doc says both yes and no. HP's press sheet and support page say two different things?”

HP answered this question stating 1-8GB chip...that claim is false as mine has 2-4GB chips which I’m not happy about because now I need to buy 2-8GB chips instead of 1.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is 2 X 4 with 4 soldered directly to the motherboard. You can buy DDR4 2400 1X 16 and change out the single piece. easy. It is under the chrome square piece after you take the back off!
