I would say the battery is pretty good. I am what you could call a power user, and I get between 4 to 7 hours from full charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The battery is great! I charge the battery over night and it last every bit of 5 to 6 hours with constant use. Most of the time I don't use mine that long at one time so when I close it and come back it can last up to a day or two. I let my battery get very low before I charge it again over night. I know what you mean about the hot battery I had this problem with my old HP don't worry about that with this one it has a cooling feature that I've never heard cut on.
