“I have 2 questions: 1.Does the laptop come with a year or any guarantee or do you have to purchase one? 2. The power button on mine seems to have gotten stuck and my laptop is not powering on can anyone please tell me if you have had this problem? Thanks”

• ours too. very disappointing . seems to be a thing w this model. per microcenter, only fix is new MB

• Ours too. HP support says they will not cover it b/c it should not break b/c of normal wear. They want $379 to fix it.

• 1year,but additional was suggested since manufacturers warranty has you taking it to HP, wherever that is. No, the power button works fine, and if it didn’t I would take it for service at Best Buy since I took out service
