“Can I upgrade the memory myself or is it soldered?”

• I purchased this laptop a month ago it only came with 8gb ram so i opened mine up to see if it was really onboard like the manual says. The manual lies! mine had 2 DDR4 ram slots with only one 8gb chip installed. The other slot is empty. So obviously the ram is upgradable! hopefully these pictures help...

• The manual linked says this Memory Support for the following: DDR4-3200, 1.2 V, nonupgradeable, onboard system memory in 16 GB, 12 GB, and 8 GB conƭgurations DDR4-2666, 1.2 V, nonupgradeable, onboard system memory in 16 GB, 12 GB, and 8 GB conƭgurations
