I was told yes at the store, then After I purchased I read it is not expandable. I went back to the store geek swuad said it was NOT and another salesperson told me that the sales person who sold it to us made a mistake by telling me that it was. Answer is No, it is not.

No, the memory slot is not user accessible on this Envy laptop, therefore not expandable.
