Q: QuestionCan you confirm the RAM in this envy model (15m-ed1023dx) is upgradeable?

• A:Answer Yes it absolutely is. I swapped the 12gb 8/4 of 3200 for 32gb 16x2 of 3200. The rubber strip along the bottom tears easily when removing it to access the screws though.

Q: QuestionPer the specifications, it says it has a 2.5" expansion bay and HP is saying it does not. Can someone confirm if this laptop in fact does have an expansion bay to add an addition HDD?

• A:Answer This model, the HP Envy x36015m-ed1013dx (not the HP 15m-ed0013dx) is a thin and light model that does not have room for a 2.5" expansion bay. This is an error on the Best Buy page. I will report it to HP an Best Buy. Good catch Nick!

Q: QuestionIs this system bus PCI express revision 4.0? Does is support the faster PCIe 4.0 speed of 16 GT/s bit rate? I know the 11th gen processor 'could' support PCIe 4.0, but ONLY IF the other chips inside support it as well.

Q: QuestionThe specs on my laptop say 4.7 gigahertz but when I look it up in the laptop it says 2.8 why? That is kind of misleading unless there's a good reason under the specifications it reads 4.7 but in the laptop itself it says 2.8. I have the HP e n v y 360

• A:Answer Yes, there is a good reason. 2.8 GHz is the "base" frequency-think of that as being like the idle speed of your car's engine. But it has the capability of speeding itself up to 4.7 GHz as the computing load on the processor increases.
