Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I just did exactly that. I installed a 500GB 960 EVO at that (not what the specs stated as compatible). The only tricky part was formatting and deleting the partitions on the original drive to use it for simple storage and not a boot drive. If you want to keep the HDD as the boot drive then the installation is even easier. *M.2 Screw was NOT in the motherboard or SSD packaging*
