QuestionHas anyone had a problem with the hinges on this laptop? Worried about them breaking from flipping it around a lot. I broke the hinge on my current laptop and its not even a 2-in-1 so I am just concerned.

- Answer After 4 and a half months the hinge broke and the screen flops around. Sent it to HP as it was still under warranty, they contacted me back saying "accidental" damage isn't covered and it would cost $625 to repair. Avoid this computer

QuestionI'm seeing poor reviews on this laptop but I like the specs that it is has. The model below this one which is i5 and 12GB seems to get better reviews. I'm torn between which of the two models to choose from. How can I decide?

QuestionI bought the HP Envy x360 15M-BP112DX last week, but I can't seem to find a compatible stylus/pen for this model. It's not listed on HP's website. Does anyone have a model that works with this laptop?

- Answer The Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus works for simple things like One Note and even some Photoshop work but it's not 100% compatible. Some programs don't have pressure sensitivity (Photohop does). That might get fixed with a driver update from Wacom.

QuestionHas anybody tested out the compatibility between this and the 500GB 960 EVO m.2 SSD? All of the specs match what is in the maintenance and service guide, except the capacity(512GB in guide, SSD is 500GB). I'm also considering the WD Black and Intel 600p.

- Answer My only regret with this machine is that I did NOT get a solid state drive (SSD) with it. I would hope that the SSD would be used as the primary drive, not for backup or storage; the 1TB HDD in my machine is fine once things are up and running, but my last two work-supplied machines have 512GB SSDs. and even boot time is lightning fast on those machines. So if it's available and in your budget, I would definitely opt for that configuration.

- Answer The PC supports M2 SSDs. The form factor is 2280 and there is support for either Sata III M2 SSD or PCIe NVMe SSD. The NVMe SSD will be much faster and more expensive. I currently have replaced my hdd with a ssd but I haven't used the empty M.2 ssd slot yet.

- Answer Thank you for your question! This computer would be fairly good at gaming. For the best experience you should look for a laptop with a dedicated GPU but even without one this computer with the i7 and 16gb ram is more than you need to run most games on average settings.

- Answer Just got the HP Envy x360 2-in-1 15.6 Touch-Screen Laptop model 15M-BP112DX for our son (June 2018). Conducted many searches and finally ended up calling BestBuy support. The recommended stylus was the Wacom Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus - Model CS321AK (sku 5731102) for approx $60. At first it didn't seem to be compatible but my son paired it a couple more times and adjusted a setting or two on the laptop and it works great on all his programs. He didn't check the quick start guide for the stylus but it looks fairly thorough. Note, we bought a much cheaper off-brand stylus that was recommended online but it barely worked with the Envy 360. Spending almost a grand on a laptop that doesn't come with a stylus makes no sense IMHO!
  I would recommend:
  - Wacom - Bamboo Stylus - Black
