Yes, this has a backlit keyboard.

The F5 key manually controls lighting the keyboard. It would be nice if it sensed the ambient light in the room and did it automatically like a MacBook Pro. Sometimes I need a light just to find the F5 key! Also, the color scheme of the keys and letters on them makes them hard to distinguish with the keyboard lighting on, when it isn't very dark in the room. Apple did a much better job with the MacBook Pro.
