I was having the same issue. It seems to be heat buildup and it only happens for me while playing high power games. If I leave the side of the case off it never happens. I'm going to need to get some extra case fans for it I guess. Disappointing that this would happen on a stock build from a reputable company. As far as the game codes, for me they're on the receipt that printed out.

Only way to shut the computer down is by pulling the plug. Pressing the power button doesn't do anything no matter how long I press it. Just wondering if you were able to fix the issue.

It could be a memory or power supply issue you will want fixed under warranty. I didn't get any information on the free games so you might want to call where you bought it to find out if you qualify.
