- Answer As long as you enroll your HP printer an instant ink plan, you can use this card and redeem the code as a prepaid balance to your account. On the due date, the amount will deduct from your account balance. If you did not enroll any plan, you cannot use this card and must buy brand new ink cartridges when you run out of ink. Hope this helps.

- Answer you can contact the instant ink number on your credit card statement and deal with the substandard customer service. Anything you've already paid is gone so don't expect a refund on that, but you have to contact them directly otherwise if you stop the payments they will turn off your printer,

QuestionWhat is the length of the contract? Are you locked in for a certain amount of time?

- Answer The contract is endless until you call up and cancel it, they will charge you even if your printer is not printing anything and if the credit card expires or payment is missed they will turn off the print functions, they have an active view into your print activities, I cancelled it and I would suggest you avoid Instant Ink, you can get cartridges much cheaper over the internet now.

- Answer As I understand it, pages printed with your own ink cartridges are not counted towards your usage allowance.

- Answer there is no prepayment option, you must put a credit card on the account and they will charge you monthly whether you print anything or not. Also, if your credit card expires or you miss the payment for any reason HP will shut down the print functions on the printer. I highly recommend you just buy the ink on the internet, its much cheaper and you don't need to let HP into your environment.

- Answer The instant ink cartridges will give you 50 pages. After that you will need to wait for ink to be sent. This is not instant.

- Answer this is the bestbuy website........you need to contact HP Instant Ink brother. You can find the number on your credit card statement or on line, they prefer to do the online chat session usually which is typically quicker than waiting for an agent. The cust service is out of India so don't expect much, good luck
