A:Answer If you’re printer has both black and color ink, you will receive both cartridges at the same time . They are sent out when insta-ink notices the ink level is low, therefore you have to keep your printer on and connected, that’s how it monitors the ink levels. You’ll get a notification email about the ink levels or printer being off line if you unplug it like I do. I hope this help. Also when you receive the cartridges you have to mail the used ones to them, you’ll get a return envelope with the new cartridges. I hope this helps.
