• There is no on/off switch, only reset. However, it is only using power when keys are pressed. It also contains no LED lighting or indicators.

• Look at the top right hand corner on the keyboard itself. See the small OFF/ON slide switch? Slide it. If you see red, the keyboard is off.

• Not needed. no power drain when computer is off

• There is, however, I never turn it off. The AA batteries seem to last longer than my memory of replacing them. I do not use rechargeable batteries.
