• Yes through the app and through your camera phone you can scan documents to it I have done it once or twice successfully it may also work on Google Chromebooks but I've yet to try this so I don't know

You can use the HP Smart app on your smartphone or tablet to scan documents and share via email. If you want a printer with a scanner, we recommend looking at the HP Laserjet M140we printer, SKU:6484886. You can use the HP Smart app to scan documents, then email.
