“I’ve tried every way I know to install this printer with my HP ALL IN ONE that’s about 6-7 years old but it keeps balking and saying driver not installed. Should I return this printer?”

Call the help line first. Did you purchase a certified replacement? They said only certified replacements will work in this printer.
