• Thank you for your question and your concern about drying up. Laser printers, including this HP LaserJet M140w do not have drying out issues because toner is a dry powder, which makes it perfect for occasional printing.

• I am a snowbird, and consequently, our printer sits without any use for six months. The last laser ink lasted for two years. That’s what I need. Where did you find that?

• Since it is already a dry powder, there is no chance of it drying further. That is the one of the advantages of laser vs. inkjet printers.
