Can this printer scan and save in color?? null

It sure can. It scan scan in color up to 600 dpi. I have the multi-function printer installed on a Microsoft Surface Pro. You can use the HP Smart APP or the Windows Fax and Scan app to scan and save files. I found the HP Smart app to save color and b&w files as a PDF. While Fax and Scan app was easier to save as a image file (jpg). Wish the HP Smart App had more options to customize scanning feature.

Because it's a monochrome laser printer, it only scans and prints in black and white.
