it comes with a starter cartridge 48a is the replacement cartridge about 45 bucks

Yes, this printer comes with a toner that will last about 500 pages. You would need the HP 48A toner when it comes time to replace the other toner.

Yes, the HP Laser Jet Pro M15w comes with a starter cartridge. The printer is compact and easy to set up. Everything you need to use the printer is on the box, except the paper. I was able to find after market HP-compatible toner cartridges, 2 for less than $40, online. I’m very satisfied with the printer’s performance using both the factory provided toner and the after market product.

The HP Laser Jet Pro M15w printer comes with a cartridge - It takes a HP 48A cartridge.
