• The LaserJet Pro M283fdw will be the same as the M283cdw. The M283cdw is version you will find at club stores like Costco or Sams club.

• Just wanted to correct the last answer. I have the cdw version and it does fax scan print and copy. I find the hp smart app extremity helpful especially when scanning or printing from my cellular device!

• Someone answered that the HP LaserJet Pro M283cdw doesn't fax. That is incorrect, I have a HP LaserJet Pro M283cdw Wireless Color Printer and I am able to fax with it.

• The difference is that the printer with the 'f' also faxes where the one that only says 'c' does not have the option to fax. Both printers take the same toner cartridges.
