• You can print pictures from the computer or make a copy of a photo. Laser printers are great for a lot of document printing. Inkjet printers, like the HP Officejet Pro 9015 printer can do document and photo printing. The difference between the laser printer and inkjet printer is the printing resolution. The printing resolution of the laser printer is lower than an inkjet printer. In this case, the M479fdn printer resolution is 600 x 600 DPI (dots per inch). The HP Officejet Pro 9015 printer has a print resolution of 4800 x 1200 DPI. That means the 4800 x 1200 DPI will have lots of smaller dots to create a great photo. The 600 x 600 DPI will have few larger dots which will make the photo not look photo quality.
