• Thank you for the question. The LaserJet Tank 2504dw accepts HP 153A (2500 pages) and HP 153X (5000 pages) toner cartridges. We always recommend genuine HP toner for the best results. Generic toner, if even available, will probably not have the same toner recipe. HP is not responsible for the affect non-genuine toners may have on your print output or general printer health.
