Can another tray be added to increase capacity? null

Thank you for asking. No, but the M479 has the option to add a 550-sheet tray for extra capacity. It also will do 2-sided scanning in one pass and prints a tad faster than the M283. And, the M479's utility tray has a 50-sheet capacity, vs. the 1-sheet capacity on the M283's utility tray.
