• Mine weighs 5 pounds 10 ounces with both ink cartridges full and without the cord. So by your definition, I'm a liar if I call my printer portable until such time that I can use 10 ounces of ink, bringing the weight down to the requisite 5 pounds. Evidentally, I have some apologies to make.

• Your idea of mobile, may be different from the tech world's idea. This unit weighs 5.5 pounds. Or 8 ounces over your idealized weight. It is the weight difference of a Chipotle's burrito! Or even a large cup coffee from Starbucks,
