Your phone will connect to the printer via the WIFI signal name of the printer. You do not need live internet.

As far as I know, you can use either WiFi Direct (If supported), Bluetooth or direct USB cable connect from a mobile device or laptop. Not certain those options are available from a cell phone as I haven't tried it from one. Cheers!

Yes, just use the direct wi- fi feature on the printer, or you can use Bluetooth. You can also print using a cable from the printer to usb. Direct wi-fi doesn't need an internet connection.

It has USB capability so I would think that you can connect it to a laptop with a USB cable. If you're talking about Airprint from a phone, then I don't see how you can.

While this is a wireless printer, it needs to be connected to a computer network (along with the PCs) in order to print wirelessly. If you are in a remote location with no cell or wifi service, then connect the printer to the PC via a USB cable.
