A:Answer I don't use a phone jack to use the fax feature on this printer. I simply use an app on my Android phone and and I can either fax something from my phone, or I can scan it and send it by touching the little screen on the front of the machine. It's incredibly easy. I never used a fax before I bought this printer, and I don't find many reasons to fax. But if I do need to, I don't have to find a place to do it for me, I can just do it myself. It's just so handy to have around. No wires are needed except the power wire, of course. Good luck with your faxing!!
