“Ref. HP Printer 5742 All in One (no Fax) I have just installed Windows 10 Operating software followed by software for above mentioned printer. I have wired connection from the printer to my PC. I understand your bare able to print documents only. My question is not being funny but trying to do a process of elimination. Are you able to print in color at all? Can you take a he color cartridge out and put it back in to make sure it is sitting correctly?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you have the most recent drivers for this printer? Try deleting the printer and having Windows 10 pick it for you. Restart your computer after you do this and use plug and play. Sometimes the software that comes with the printer is out of date. Even though the printer is new. All so you can try to get the latest drivers for this printer online at there website. Good luck.☺
