So I bought this for my dad for his birthday, as we finally needed a wifi printer in the house. Our old HP Deskjet is probably 10 years old, so it was time for an upgrade...this has the top loading feeder, glass bed scanner, wifi, and fax. It was so simple to set up, took not even 10 minutes to get it on the network, set up the fax correctly, and get everything working. Immediately set it up with Google Cloud Print for my Chromebook and all of our Android tablets/phones in the house, but then I realized HP has it's own print plugin for Android, so we installed that and that worked perfectly as well. Prints quickly, faxes well, and scans nicely. All in all, this was a great purchase..and ink is pretty cheap for this printer! Love it!

My son set up this printer for me and I was surprised at how easily and quickly he got it up and running. Immediately I was able to print from my phone, tablet and of course my computer. My son called he the next day and told me I got a really goid printer at a great price

I went to BestBuy an I reviewed all the products there couldn't beat that price for all the features it had anywhere on top of it and even had a fax which I wanted also I only took two cartridges instead of all the many cartridges my other one had.

It is a great product, my old printer had wi-fi but was not easy for me to install the connection. This hp was so easy.

I really like this printer. It carries out what I need it to do such as copying, printing, etc. It is also stylish and easy to use.

This was a smart buy for an all-in-one. My very first HP printer and love it. I have always been a Canon printer user and won't go back. I'm sold using a Canon for camera but an HP for my all my printing needs!

My HP 5740 provides excellent quality pictures and printing at a very good price. Although it is fairly new to me, no problems at this time.

This printer is sufficient for my light at home printing needs. It installed seamlessly and connected to my home network. I installed it from my mobile phone, which I can see ink levels and control my printer from. I took that for granted until I was buying office supplies and remembered I wanted some XP cartridges for my new printer. Opened my app, and there it was. It is quiet, hold plenty of paper, and the print quality is as expected with an all in one inkjet.

This printer has everything I need. After over a month researching, comparing and watching videos, this is the one I chose and yes, I made a great decision. Installation is done in a heartbeat, it has one tricolor cartridge and one black which makes it easier because keeps printing black even if you have run out of color ink.( This is very important beacuse other HP models that use separate color cartridges ink like, cyan, magenta, yellow etc need to be replaced immediately or printer will no print even black) black ink regular costs only 14.99 dollars, XL 19.99. Cost per black page is 2 or 3 cents. Awesome quality. You can print from anywhere in the house or from wherever you are so when you get home you can just pick up the papers you need, and leave. Prints both sides automatically (double side printing) the printer reads when both sides have to be printed, it has a touch screen window where you can clearly read, search and look for all commands, this one is fax, scanner and printer, it is really awesome. I am happy to know that my hours of research are paid off because i made the perfect decision. Ps, this model is not as big as other Hp Models that take too much space, but it is not too small either. check measurements before you buy. I am including a picture of the touchscreen window.

This printer scans, faxes, copies and is wireless. It is also an energy start printer. The quality for pictures is fantastic. Very easy installation and not bulky at all.

Great inkjet for the price! Both color and B&W print fast. Was easy to set it up on my WiFi and works flawlessly. Really like the Android apps that allow me to print from anywhere via my smartphone. Not too clunky and looks nice in the TV stand, doesn't distract from my decor. Signed up for the auto-ink refills but haven't had to use it yet because I still have the original cartridges installed, but I expect that to save on ink refills and be more trustworthy than 3rd-party refills.

Very pleased with my new HP Officejet 5740. Easy to setup, quiet, and so simple to print from my ipad and iphone. I really like that it is can scan multiple pages as one document.

My old HP printer broke and we were very happy, but with this we are even happier, great in everthing, smaller , lighter , with more things to do, such a great purcharse and such a great price. Very easy to understand , easy to use, so many features. A very complete printer, with an scanner and fax, i dont know about the ink issue because we are still with the same cartridge from the box and we are going to see how many pages you can print.

I was looking for a low priced color printer and stepped up to this model because of the additional features available. I have a B&W laser printer for heavy usage, but needed color capability for smaller jobs. I appreciate the smaller size of the unit and it's wireless capabilities. The seperate photo tray is a nice to have. Very easy to set up, looking forward to the HP service to deliver cartridges based upon usage.

This printer was easy to set up. I had a little difficulty setting up me Galaxy S5, but once I turned off the printer and let it reboot, it works perfectly! Love how you can be anywhere in the house and print anything. Works great with the APPS for printing. Love how it has an email address tied into the printer, so if you are away from home, you can print whatever needs to and it will be there when I get home.
