Good question. You have to print from your phone using WiFi. You have 2 options for that. You can either connect both the printer and your phone to the same WiFi network such as your home WiFi network, or you can turn on the printer's own built-in WiFi hotspot. The printer has a feature called WiFi Direct. With that feature turned on, you can connect your phone to the printer's WiFi and print to the printer. I recommend installing a free app called HP ePrint to your phone to help you print to the printer from your phone.
