• Good question. The best way to copy a legal document would be through the auto document feeder at the top of the printer. Legal size documents won't fit on the glass flatbed scanner on the printer. Please see page 17 of the user manual for instructions on how to load paper onto the auto document feeder: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04381179 I hope this helps.

• I haven't printed on legal, but believe you put the legal size paper in the paper tray (lower), press PRINT, select the paper size LEGAL or Landscape and print.
