You can turn off the Wi-Fi on most HP printers. The majority of units like the Deskjet, Envy, Officejet and Officejet Pro have a USB B female port on the back. The do not come with a USB A to USB B 2.0 cable which you will need to physically connect it to your computer or router if it has USB support. For the Officejet and Officejet Pro units, you can also connect using an Ethernet cable to a modem and/or router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When the printer is direct wired (cat 5 or 6) to your router system, I believe you can disable the Wi-Fi system. I like the feature of being able to access the wireless capability remotely; but I also have mine direct wired.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a USB port on your computer you can hook up a cable directly from computer to printer and not use wifi at all.
