• I'm not sure which HP Printer you purchased but the HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 will print 8.5 x 14". It's not the best pic but see pic of HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 paper tray displaying 8.5 x 14" . Cheers, EaglesN3st
