• When I load pages on the feeder at the top of my HP OfficeJet Pro 6978, it will not scan these pages. I can scan only one page at a time by lifting the top and laying the paper on the glass. Why is the feeder at the top not scanning anything?

• Yes, it will do it automatically if using the document feeder. If scanning from the glass, HP Smart has an option to add pages during scanning and saving them as one file.
