• I was looking for same features and very happy with this unit. It prints color, grayscale, or b&w. Scans,copies, and has fax capability. One side or duplex printing User friendly touch screen controls as well as desktop app. Works well with iPhone, laptop, & iPad.

• This model works well but perhaps you would consider the OfficeJet 5255 as it is more geared towards home use.

• I would definitely recommend looking at the HP 6978. Its easy to do an on line comparision and check reviews. Then I would shop for the best deal - there are plenty out there right now.
