Despite the printer being connected to my WiFi, it shows up as offline under HP Smart and printer settings. When connected to HP Direct, HP Smart says its ready but it remains offline under printer settings. How do I get this printer online?!? null

You can reach out to HP for support, however the printer should be connected. Are you enabling the web services?

Go to printer settings on your computer and set this printer as your default printer.

I would call a Geek, or Google the printer name and get advice from HP.
