does this printer com with ink null

This printer does come with so-called "setup" cartridges. According to sales rep, the three color cartridges are only half full. And I found the black cartridge is about 1/3 size of its XL cartridge.

Yes, all of HP's printers come with setup cartridges, though we always recommend purchasing an additional set to have on hand so you do not run out at a bad time! The OfficeJet Pro 6978 uses the HP 902 Black, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta cartridges!

It does, but I would go ahead and buy some more ink at Best Buy-depending on how much printing you do, the factory pack of ink doesn't last log.
